The "Federal subsidies of oil companies" is a convenient Democrat lie. Name one "subsidy" that an oil company gets that no other company gets - no other mining company, no other manufacturing company. In fact, the oil industry in some areas gets smaller tax deductions than similar companies in other industries. Most other mining or manufacturing companies do not get the extreme amounts of tax added to their product.
